If you work in a small office and you have an upset stomach and need to release some gas, for god's sake just go to the bathroom. If you're alone in the file room and think it's safe to let one slip, you are very, very wrong. It will be the worst fart ever, and it will permeate the office, leaving all of your co-workers to very loudly exclaim, "What is that smell?? Something rotten must be coming through the vents," for the next hour or so.

Before making a tasteless gay joke, make sure that the girl standing at her locker right next to you is not, in fact, a lesbian. She will not be amused, and the fact that she's five foot two will not prevent her from braining you with her English binder. Everyone will laugh at you.
